I found New Mexico to be very inspiring, complete with earth tones and adobe houses.

I was brought to tears, as we drove into New Mexico. In the early evening sunset sky, there stood the biggest, most beautiful moon I've ever seen. It reminds me now that my glimpse of Christ is beautiful, yet there are few sacred moments where His beauty surpasses my expectations, and behold, there is the Lamb! He shows Himself to me in a new merciful way. The strangest thing yet, is that He utterly loves me. My mind has trouble perceiving such perfect, merciful love; for I know myself.

These are my little loves! My two boys have completely expanded my
capabilities as a person, especially in the area of patience.
There is always adventure, creativity and so much love
in the minds of a 2 year old and a 4 year old! It's quite inspiring.

A Selection Of Nancy's Paintings

Nancy was born in Quito, Ecuador and it was here at the age of 3 that she discovered that drawing made her happy. A great part of her influence, however, comes from growing up in Queens, New York. As a child, her fondest memory took place during an outing with her mother to the Museum of Modern Art. A painting caught her attention and there she stood, diminutive, beneath a large abstract painting. She wasn’t sure if she liked it, but something about the color just touched her.

Many years later this memory is a link to what she loves to do today. Studying art and illustration in Fashion Industries High School in the heart of Manhattan’s fashion district and then going on to achieve her B.S in the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale has certainly refined her skills. Yet when she paints she seems to always refer to the childlike girl who is captivated by a colorful abstract. Her paintings reflect her life experiences, thoughts and emotions, characterized by geometrical shapes and vibrant translucent color.

In addition to painting, Nancy is also a graphic designer, muralist and creates unique hand painted crafts, all which fall under the name LoveLife Studios. She now lives in Northwest Arkansas with her husband, two boys, and a very shy Miniature Schnauzer. Her motto is taken from a scripture in the Bible: “Live a life of love.”
